Influential Dams

Fudge is a tank of a cow and the only daughter of Prospect Hill Xtreme Linda 14X.  Both of these cows are bull makers.  The sons of these two cows are always some of the biggest steers or bulls in the fall.  At Sharom, we believe in raising growthy steers as pounds equal money and this cow represents that quality.

Dana is a big, broody cow with her roots coming from the renowned Eionmor herd of Ken and Robert Morison.  Her top quality bull calves have sold to purebred and commercial herds in Alberta. When Dana has a daughter, she stays at Sharom to continue her mother's legacy.  An up and coming herd sire we kept for our use, Sharom Lynx 130L, grandson of Dana, demonstrates our confidence in this cow line.

Cricket is another steadfast cow working in our herd.  Year after year she consistently produces top notch females for our replacement pen and those of other herds.  Her picture, shown here, is a testament of her ability to raise a smashing calf.  We look forward to generations of Cricket's offspring at Sharom.

We purchased Ashton at the 2022 Who's Your Daddy Sale from Bell M Farms.   She was a smart investment with big returns.  So far, all of her progeny have stayed as replacements on the farm.  Ashton has a quiet temperament and a picture perfect udder.  We look forward to what she has to offer in the future.

​ The foundation matron Dee has left her mark at Sharom.  Her daughter, Jessie Dee, has developed into our type of cow, deep, broody and red.  She is an easy doing cow that always brings a good calf home in the fall.  It would be nice to have 50 more like her.
